Meta knitting

I haven't done any knitting in four days. I've been thinking about my projects hundreds of miles away and the projects I will start with the yarn in my trunk. Meta knitting. Why do I knit. What will I knit. Where will I knit. ..when, for whom I left my needles at home intentionally so that vacation would be more of a vacation instead of the same old thing that goes on at home. Instead I have time to spend focusing on my husband, my baby, and writing. I am in search of a decent knitting magazine. I enjoy the articles in Vogue Knitting, but they have posted some questionable and tasteless things on their Facebook page..also the magazine is so full of advertisements it is hard to actually /find/ the articles. I found knitty.com today. So far i am hopeful. I can't say yet whether I find it decent. The there are the other knitting magazines that I see in book stores, interweave knits..and a few others of which I have yet to pay much attention. I'm looking forward to getting home from vacation, finishing up three baby blankets that I have started working on, as well as starting a few others.
